There are a select few that possess the talent, the consistency, and the passion for winning championships. Erion Racing, and its team of riders are part of the select group who have made racing success look easy. With four AMA championships won with Erion-modified CBR900RRs, these racing machines are built to produce serious results.
As Honda's official factory-supported road race team, the Erion squad receives motorcycles, parts and technical support. In return, Erion supplies an impeccably organized team that can bring along promising young riders--and still win championships. And now for 2001, Erion Racing looks to expand its dominance into yet another aspect of racing--AMA Superbike. |

Now in his second year working with Kurtis Roberts, David McGrath can see his squad jelling into a cohesive unit--one that will be right in the thick of the Superbike Championship fray. After first gaining valuable experience working for years as a line mechanic and service manager at the dealership level, McGrath found his true calling at the race track. He began competing regionally in the Southeast, then went on to earn success as a national-class road racer. That training ground allowed him to become a development rider for Dunlop, gain racing engine and chassis knowledge at KWS Motorsports, then spend a year as lead technician for a front-line factory Superbike team.
"My racing experience definitely helps me in my interaction with the rider, and the addition of Danny Hull is already a big plus," McGrath explained. "Danny and Kurtis have worked together before, so there's a strong relationship and we have a very good mix going. By all indicators, this is shaping up to be a great year for our group."
